Nike SB Dunk Low “Champagne”: A Toast to 25 Years

The SB Dunk turns 25 in 2027, and Nike SB is getting the toast in early. The “Champagne” takes the silhouette that helped launch Nike SB in 2002 and dresses it up like a bottle you’ve been saving for the right occasion.

The glossy Black Spruce upper sets the tone. Metallic gold on the outer Swoosh and heel tab picks up on the foil around a champagne bottle, and the cork insoles carry the idea through to the inside. There’s also a small crest tucked into the inner collar and gothic lettering that gives the branding an old bottle-label feel.

If the green and gold look familiar, the Air Jordan 6 “Champagne” wore a similar palette back in 2014. This pair has its own occasion: a quarter century of the SB Dunk.
