A Long-Awaited Jordan 12 Release Comes Back Into the Spotlight
The Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” is officially back on the release calendar after taking one of the longest and most unpredictable paths to retail in recent Jordan Brand memory. Originally teased as part of the brand’s wider 40th Anniversary rollout, the release was reportedly shelved in favor of the return of the iconic “Flu Game” colorway before resurfacing once again for Summer 2026. Built around a premium all-black leather upper, the design follows the structure of the 2022 “Black Taxi” Air Jordan 12 while introducing bold crimson accents throughout the shoe. Red detailing hits the outsole, upper eyelets, inner lining, and heel branding, giving the silhouette a sharper, more aggressive finish while staying true to the AJ12’s legacy aesthetic. Familiar, wearable, and rooted in classic Jordan DNA, the Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” stands out as one of the more anticipated retro releases of the season.
