Hartley’s North Park Edition — A Collaboration Rooted In Community

Overload, Mission Brewing, Milestone Running, and HOKA Come Together Through The History of North Park

Hartley’s North Park Edition started with a simple idea between friends: make a beer together. From there, the challenge became finding a concept that genuinely connected Overload, Mission Brewing, Milestone Running, and a hidden HOKA connection through something authentic to the neighbourhood itself. During research into the history of North Park, an old flyer referencing “Hartley’s North Park” — the original name of the area dating back to 1893 — became the foundation for the entire project. From the can design to the visual direction and even the nostalgic feel of the amber lager itself, every part of the collaboration was built around the streets, culture, and shared community that still define North Park today. More than a brand collaboration, Hartley’s North Park Edition documents the connection between skateboarding, running, local businesses, and the neighbourhood they all move through together.
