Thank you to everyone who joined us over the weekend to celebrate the life of Scruffy.

For many years, Scruffy was more than the shop dog. He was part of the daily rhythm of Overload and a familiar face to generations of customers, friends and neighbours who came through our doors. He belonged to Brian and his family, but the love people showed him made it clear that he also held a special place in the wider North Park community.

The celebration brought together so many people who knew and loved him. We shared food, drinks, photographs and stories about the little guy, remembering the countless ordinary moments that made his presence so important.

Thank you to everyone who attended, helped with the event, shared a memory or simply stopped by to show their support. Seeing so many familiar faces gathered in his honour meant an enormous amount to Brian, his family and everyone at Overload.

We’ll miss Scruffy every day we open the doors to the store. The shop won’t feel quite the same without him, but he will always remain part of its story.

We’ve included some photographs from the celebration below, along with a few new Scruffy tees created to memorialise a much-loved member of the Overload family.
