Air Jordan 6 “White Infrared” Returns With Nike Air

The last “White Infrared” retro was in 2014. To find one with Nike Air on the heel, you have to go all the way back to 1991. Both the 2010 Infrared Pack and the 2014 retro used a Jumpman on the back. Thirty-five years after the original, that little heel detail is finally back.

The rest of the shoe stays close to the launch pair: white leather, black detailing and hits of Infrared across the midsole. Jordan Brand also brings the shape closer to the original, bringing back the sleek lines Tinker Hatfield drew from German sports cars of the era.

The AJ6 was on MJ’s feet when he won his first NBA title in 1991. The “White Infrared” was part of that original lineup, and this release brings back one of the details that made it unmistakable.
