Lenny Rivas – MX Flag 2.0 Graphic

Lenny Rivas grew up skating the streets of National City, just south of San Diego, during the progressive 90’s era of street skating. With a career spanning some of Southern California’s top skate brands, Lenny became known not just for his technical style but also his creativity off the board.

During his early years, Lenny taught himself math and artistic lettering. Inspired by Chad Muska’s grip tape art, he began designing custom grip lettering for himself and his crew, which evolved into Lenster Grip—his own grip tape brand.

Lenny’s skating took him across SoCal, from LA spots to hometown favorites like Memorial Park and Chula Vista Skatepark. One of his past deck graphics paid homage to his Mexican roots, featuring a flag design. We revisited that classic and gave it a bold refresh—introducing the MX Flag Graphic 2.0.

We’re proud to collaborate with Lenny on this new design and celebrate his impact on skate culture. Stay tuned for new footage and photos coming soon.
